April 26th - 1 year!
Ella has made it all the way to her 1 year well-baby check up! And she did very well. She weighed in at 18.5 pounds. That puts her at the 30th percentile (up from 20th). The doctor was very pleased with her weight gain. She's got quite the buddha belly.

She is 27 inches tall and her head measured off the charts. She was awfully wiggly though.

No concerns whatsoever. She got her measles/mumps/rubella shots. Poor baby. She did fine the remainder of the day.

The doctor was also pleased to hear she is walking. And considering how long it took Ella to even start babbling (about a week after her 9 month appointment) she wasn't too surprised that Ella isn't saying any words yet. She will be very soon. She's just been too busy working on her gross motor skills.

Her next appointment is at 15 months.
