6 Months, 2 weeks - ending 11/17/04

Tuesday, November 16th
So long since I've typed anything. Ella is keeping us busy. She spends more of her day awake now, and is in need of lots of attention. She's fairly cranky. We think she's teething though we can't see anything in her gums. She has good days too though. Her thing right now is raspberrying all day long. Her "underwater" baby phase is now over. She's rolling all over the place, but not up on her hands and knees yet. That's okay. She can get around pretty good just by rolling. We don't need her to crawl yet. No babbling yet either.

Since my last entry we have started solids, then stopped, now slowly getting back in to it. She went 2 weeks without wanting to eat anything but Cheerios. Which she loves. She doesn't like apple juice or grape juice, but will drink water. Go figure.

We're still working on getting her to sit. She seems to prefer to either lay or stand. I can't believe that she is all ready 6.5 months old. She's getting so big!
